Andrea Eby

Andrea Eby is a Canadian artist whose bold, visually engaging work spans painting, illustration, and ceramics. Based in Grimsby, Ontario, Andrea studied painting and pottery at the Emily Carr Institute in Vancouver before earning her diploma in Interpretive Illustration and Design from Sheridan College.

Her fine art practice is grounded in an evolving visual language shaped by her Prime Colour Theory and an ongoing conceptual series titled “Grey Matters.” Through vibrant compositions and nuanced tonal work, Andrea explores visual contrasts and layered meanings—offering viewers an open-ended space for reflection. While rooted in the formal elements of colour and design, her work also hints at deeper cognitive and emotional undercurrents, allowing for personal interpretation.

Andrea works professionally as a cartoonist and designer at Specialty Print/Tabco Inc., and is also an art instructor and active member of Willow Arts Community. Her multidisciplinary background and design fluency enrich a practice that bridges narrative, form, and concept.
