Judy Mayer is a Canadian visual artist whose multidisciplinary career spans fine art, illustration, graphic design, and education. With over two decades of experience as an Art Director in advertising, publishing, and digital media, Mayer brings a refined visual intelligence and an expert sense of composition to her creative practice. Her work is celebrated for its balance of emotional resonance and design precision, offering collectors distinctive works that are both visually compelling and conceptually thoughtful.

Mayer works in acrylic and digital media, producing original paintings and digital artworks that explore landscape, abstraction, symbolism, and the subconscious. Her approach draws upon her professional background, where she created impactful visual campaigns for national and international clients. Her fine art paintings are layered and expressive, characterized by bold colour, formal structure, and intuitive mark-making.

A graduate of OCAD University (Honours) and The Art Centre CTS in Toronto, Judy Mayer launched her creative career in commercial illustration before transitioning to a dedicated art practice. Her work has been exhibited across Ontario, including the John Mann Gallery, Propeller Art Gallery, McMaster Innovation Park, and the Varley Art Gallery of Markham. Her art appears in private and corporate collections and has been featured in public art installations, including murals and fundraising exhibitions.

In addition to her studio practice, Mayer is a committed arts educator. She has taught at Fanshawe College, Varley Art Gallery, and multiple arts organizations, where she specializes in painting, digital media, and creative exploration.
