Diana Lombardi
(b. 1982, Hamilton, Ontario — lives and works in Hamilton, Canada)

Diana Lombardi is a Canadian painter whose vibrant, emotionally charged works explore themes of resilience and renewal. Working primarily in acrylic on canvas and linen paper, her intuitive style blends elements of Impressionism and Fauvism—marked by bright colours, expressive brushwork, and an emphasis on emotional depth. Her paintings resonate strongly with collectors drawn to bold, heartfelt narratives and luminous colour.

Although largely self-taught, Lombardi deepened her practice through courses at the Toronto School of Art and the Dundas Valley School of Art. A lifelong painter, her current body of work emerged with renewed intensity in 2024, sparked by personal transformation and a desire to create from feeling rather than form.

In recent years, Lombardi’s work has been exhibited at McMaster Innovation Park, McMaster University, the 2024 Hamilton Fringe Festival, and the Grimsby Public Art Gallery. Her photograph The Centre of Lucca was selected for the prestigious Artists À La Carte 2025 exhibition and now hangs in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario at Queen’s Park. Her painting Striated Muscles is currently on display at the Hamilton Back Clinic in Hannon, Ontario.

As her practice continues to evolve, Lombardi is garnering increasing recognition for her expressive style and growing appeal among private and institutional collectors.
