Alex Chorny’s artwork harnesses the natural forces of magnetism and gravity to create visually striking, experimental pieces that reveal hidden patterns and connections between art, science, and the unseen structures of the universe.

Alex Chorny (b. Burlington, Ontario) is an emerging interdisciplinary artist whose work explores the rich intersection of science and visual art. Based in Burlington, Ontario, Chorny brings a rare academic background to his practice, combining studies in Studio Art at Brock University with previous academic work in Life Sciences and Accounting & Finance at the University of Waterloo. This diverse foundation fuels his belief that creativity thrives at the crossroads of disciplines.

Rejecting traditional materials and techniques, Chorny creates experimental artworks by manipulating the natural forces of magnetism and gravity. His pieces often reveal hidden patterns in the universe—symmetries, tessellations, and energy flows—offering a visual language that is at once intuitive and intellectually stimulating.

Chorny’s practice invites viewers to experience art as a portal between seemingly unrelated worlds: physics and aesthetics, math and emotion, science and intuition. His work resonates with collectors who are drawn to innovation, and who value thought-provoking art that expands conventional ideas of what painting and sculpture can be.

Whether displayed in contemporary interiors, institutional settings, or private collections, Alex Chorny’s art sparks curiosity and connection—bridging disciplines and perspectives in striking, unexpected ways.
