(b. India | Lives and works in Niagara Region, Ontario, Canada)
Rajshree Jena is a multidisciplinary Canadian artist whose meditative approach to painting fuses vibrant colour, line-based storytelling, and cultural symbolism. Drawing inspiration from nature, folk art, and her architectural background, Jena creates acrylic and watercolour works that reflect spiritual harmony, personal reflection, and the emotive rhythms of the natural world.
Originally from India, Jena’s artistic voice is deeply influenced by traditional folk arts and a lifelong reverence for colour as a tool of healing. Her compositions often feature trees, birds, and floral motifs—each acting as metaphors for life, freedom, and renewal. Reiki energy is infused into her creative process, giving her art a spiritual resonance that collectors find deeply moving.
Jena’s work bridges architecture, art, and spirituality, resulting in a signature style defined by bold colour, stylized line work, and emotional nuance. Her paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions at the Mann Gallery, RiverBrink Museum, and the Pelham Art Festival, among others. A passionate arts advocate and educator, she has conducted workshops across the Niagara region and is an active member of several artist collectives including the Niagara Pumphouse, Parkway Artists Guild, and SWFT (Supporting Women, Femme & Trans).
Collectors are drawn to Rajshree Jena’s ability to create visually captivating and energetically uplifting works that reflect a harmony between inner and outer worlds—each piece telling a quiet, vibrant story of connection and being.
