Diane Croker is a Canadian visual artist whose richly expressive paintings capture the quiet beauty and fleeting moments of everyday life. Working in watercolour, acrylic, and oil, she explores a wide range of genres—from landscape and figurative compositions to imaginative still lifes and floral studies. Her practice emphasizes shape, colour harmony, and movement, resulting in work that feels both intentional and emotionally resonant. Her paintings appeal to collectors seeking thoughtfully composed, story-rich art grounded in real-world experience and aesthetic sensitivity.
Diane’s art journey began in her youth and continued through decades of study, teaching, and exploration. After receiving her Visual Artist Specialist Diploma, she taught art to elementary students while continuing to study with respected Canadian painters. She has been active in multiple art societies in both Niagara and York Region, and has participated in numerous juried and non-juried exhibitions.
Her work has earned awards in all three of her primary mediums and was recognized with the Emerging Artist of the Year Award at the Newmarket Festival. Diane has also shared her knowledge through workshops for the York Region Board of Education, Nipissing University, and the Ontario Society for Education Through Art (OSEA).
Now enjoying her retirement, Diane paints full-time, embracing the opportunity to expand her creative voice. Her work continues to be exhibited in solo and group shows, and is collected by those who value art that captures personal memory, thoughtful observation, and a timeless sense of beauty.
