Anne Reimer is a Canadian painter whose vibrant oil, watercolor, and mixed media works reflect a lifelong devotion to art and a profound appreciation for the beauty of the natural world. Known for her expressive palette knife technique and luminous colour, Reimer creates richly textured compositions that resonate with warmth, elegance, and sincerity—qualities that consistently attract collectors.
Born in Paraguay and immigrating to Canada at the age of 16, Reimer studied through the Art Instruction Schools in Minneapolis and has continued to develop her craft over decades of painting, including workshops at the Haliburton School of Fine Arts. Her work, inspired by gardens, landscapes, and travel, captures moments of serenity and joy, balancing gestural movement with careful composition.
Working primarily in oils, Reimer’s signature palette knife style adds dimension and energy to each piece. She also explores watercolor and mixed media, always returning to nature as a central theme. Her works have been recognized with multiple awards over the years and continue to be featured in exhibitions across Ontario.
