Cyndi Svob is a Canadian abstract fluid artist known for her mesmerizing resin-based mixed media works that explore colour, motion, and depth. Entirely self-taught, Svob’s practice is rooted in experimentation—continually pushing boundaries of medium, style, and surface. Her signature technique of layering pigment within wet epoxy resin creates luminous, immersive works that captivate the viewer and invite closer contemplation.

Inspired by the freedom of abstraction and the unpredictability of fluid art, Svob blends a variety of materials—including acrylics, inks, metallics, and resin—into organic compositions that seem to shift and evolve with each glance. Her process is intuitive and hands-on, resulting in richly layered artworks that evoke emotional response through vibrant colour and multidimensional texture.

Since 2014, Cyndi’s work has earned recognition through awards such as the Millpond Viewers’ Choice (SCAA) and local accolades at the Pen Centre Show and Artfest Port Credit. Her pieces have resonated with collectors for their striking visual depth and one-of-a-kind surface effects—making her work an exciting addition to contemporary Canadian art collections.
