Artist Submission Information
Thank you for your interest in exhibiting at Atelier Ironwood. Our 2026 exhibition calendar is now booked. We are currently accepting artist submissions for our January/February 2027 Square Foot Show. Atelier Ironwood is professionally curated by Armstrong Fine Art Consulting from January to October.
**(November and December are reserved for artist-led projects curated by NOTL Contemporary, which operates independently from Armstrong Fine Art Consulting.)
Exhibition Spaces
We offer two distinct environments designed to support artists at different stages of their careers:
The Terrace: Reserved for mid-career to established artists. These exhibitions run monthly for a duration of four weeks.
The Glass Room: A specialized space for emerging to mid-career artists and those currently building their market. These exhibitions run for a duration of two weeks.
Submission Checklist
To be considered for a solo or group exhibition, please submit a single PDF file to Margie Galita at margie@armstrongfac.com. Your PDF must include the following:
Professional Biography: A summary of your background and career highlights.
Curriculum Vitae (C.V.): A detailed record of your education, exhibitions, and awards.
Artist Statement: A one-page document outlining your creative process and the themes behind your work.
Portfolio Examples: Ten images of your work representing a variety of sizes.
Curatorial Review Process
While we would love to provide a platform for every artist, our selection process involves a careful review of how the work aligns with the venue. When evaluating submissions, we take the following into consideration:
Venue Compatibility: The physical limitations of the exhibition space.
Technical Requirements: The size and "delicateness" of the physical pieces.
Context and Subject Matter: How the work fits within the aesthetic and cultural narrative of Atelier Ironwood.
If your submission aligns with our current curatorial vision and venue requirements, we will contact you directly to discuss potential opportunities.
